The Berkshire Music School is a tax-exempt charitable institution as designated under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN# 04-2121369). As such donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

PLANNED GIVING
Leaving a lasting legacy to the Berkshire Music School can be as simple as making a provision for the school in your will, or naming the school as a beneficiary for a distribution from a revocable trust or retirement account. Other ways to leave a legacy of support include: gifts of life insurance, charitable gift annuities, deferred gift annuities, charitable annuity trusts, charitable lead trust, and charitable remainder unitrusts. MATCHING GIFTS
Many employers and foundations generously sponsor matching gift programs for their employees’ philanthropic interests. These companies may be willing to double or even triple the value of charitable gifts made by employees, retirees and/or their spouses. You can increase your impact by making use of your company’s matching gift program. In these instances, you will be recognized for the full amount of your gift plus any employer match.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
The Berkshire Music School gratefully accepts in-kind donations of musical instruments, scores, recordings, and other music-related equipment. Please contact our office if you have an item that you are interested in donating.
VOLUNTEERING
BMS appreciates additional support from students, parents, and other friends who want to share the joy of music with their community. Volunteers are also eligible for work study credit toward private lessons or group lessons at BMS. Some volunteer opportunities include: special events, administration/office assistance, social media, marketing/promotional assistance, flyer distribution, and building and grounds.
