* Saturday, January 28, 10 – noon. Free Open House for prospective parents and students. Visit music classes for toddlers and preschoolers; try out an instrument at our instrument petting zoo; refreshments. Taft Recital Hall, 30 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield.
* Saturday, February 4, 3 pm. Music and Poetry afternoon. The music of Alice Spatz, BMS doublebass faculty and composer in residence, and poet Dennis Pollard, accompanied by Norman Thibodeau, BMS flute faculty. Taft Recital Hall, 30 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield, MA.
* Saturday, February 11, 1 pm. Recital of Contemporary Music, Taft Recital Hall, 30 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield. Free.
* Sunday, February 26, 3 pm. BMS student orchestra performs at Westfield State University in an exchange program. Free
* Saturday, March 3, 5:30 pm – 10 pm. Gala Celebration of BMS Cabaret Workshop’s 10th anniversary. Elm Court, Lenox. Elegant evening of fine cuisine, entertainment, silent and live auction. $150.
* Saturday and Sunday, March 24 & 25. Annual MUSIC MARATHON WEEKEND. Major fundraising event for BMS to raise money for educational programs. Students perform from 9 am to 6 pm each day. Taft Recital Hall.
* Saturday, May 19, 3 pm. Recital from the Studio of Kathleen McDonald, voice. Taft Recital Hall, 30 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield. Free.
